Digestive cooling peppermint bliss balls
This incredible recipe is one of my staples when I teach my essential oil classes. There is extensive research about the benefits of peppermint oil.
Some of the most common peppermint oil uses include:
Reduces stomach aches
Soothe digestive issues
Freshens bad breath
Relieves headaches
Antimicrobial properties
Improves mental focus
Clears respiratory tract
Boosts energy
Releases tight muscles
Cost-effective natural solution to replace pharmaceutical drugs
I cannot honestly think of one reason why anyone on the planet would choose not to have peppermint oil in his or her medicine cabinet at home!
So I created this gorgeous recipe. Even if you are not a fan of chocolate and peppermint, I wasn't, this is seriously incredible!
Ingredients:
2 tbs raw cacao powder
3 drops peppermint essential oil, certified to be used internally
1 tbs almond butter
2 tbs almond meal or flour
6 dates
1tsp coconut oil melted
Method:
Start by blending the dates and the coconut oil so that you have a soft mixture. Then add the almond butter and pulse a bit more. Add all the other ingredients until you have a dough. Once everything is mixed together roll small balls with your hands. Dust the balls with cacao powder and place in the fridge.
