Healing zucchini soup

healing Paleo zucchini soup with bacon and burned sage

One of my favourite recipes! it is ready in 10 minutes, it is so nice for digestion with the cooked blended zucchini, so light and warming. 

makes 1 serving

two simple ingredients:

1 large zucchini

nutritional yeast flakes

I simply cut the zucchini in chunky pieces and boil in 2 cups of water. At this point I add turmeric powder, ginger fresh or powder and salt. Of course any other veggies can be added. once boiled II put it in the blender and blend until super creamy. I add my yeast flakes and salt to taste. I also love adding coriander dried or fresh. 

 Top with:

crispy bacon for a more healing Paleo version

extra virgin olive oil or truffle oil

chopped nuts and seeds

chilli

I adore burned sage. to do that I simply fur fresh sage in a pan with lots of ghee and salt. it is so yummy!
